Attorney Profiles
Shannon was born in Britton, South Dakota and resided there until she graduated from high school. She then attended college at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. Upon graduation she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and began law school at the University of Minnesota. After her first year of law school, Shannon transferred to the University of South Dakota where she completed her education. Shannon clerked for United States District Court Judge Lawrence Piersol, Chief Judge for the District of South Dakota for two years before joining Johnson, Heidepriem, Miner, Marlow and Janklow. Shannon and her husband Justin reside in rural Sioux Falls, South Dakota with their two daughters, Darian and Kendall.
